As a Model Bus/Runner, you will be responsible for assisting the bar and maintain the appearance of the bar. You will also set the  stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own  their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

Provide support to Cocktail Servers by cleaning tables, assisting with serving guests, and keeping side stations and service  areas clean and well-stocked.

Set and reset tables before, during, and after service; pre-bus and bus tables before, during, and after, while assisting  servers with service steps when necessary, including pouring water and serving condiments

Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner, and exemplifying MGM SHOW standards

Actively market venue; which includes participating in marketing requirements and outings, including but not limited to:

 •  Assist in developing restaurant database through networking and completing data cards

 •  Build and establish personal clientele list

 •  Weekly table reservations

 • (3) to (4) organic posts to one of the following social platforms with information provided by the marketing team:  Facebook, Instagram, and Instagram Stories

 • Sharing of venues Facebook posts onto their own channels for branding and awareness

 • Posting and engaging (liking and commenting) with the venue’s social media posts, as well as engaging with review  sites, such as Yelp

Stock towels in work area with proper concentration of sanitizing solutions

Set up bus carts for the removal of dishware for dining area

Ensure separation of china, glasses, and silver into correct bus tubs and deliver tubs to respective dishwashing areas  Keep glassware polished and portable areas stocked

Keep side stations stocked and cleaned

Ensures machines and equipment are cleaned properly

Work as liaison between kitchen and serving staff, conveying guest issues

Load/unload linens when needed

Perform all opening and closing duties, based upon shift assignment

Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and supplies – ensuring items are sanitary and in good working order

Communicate with management and service team to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests or other  employees

Participate in modeling, presentations, and promotional events and programs throughout the casino and resort

May perform in public relations capacity, representing venue and MGM National Harbor at on- and off-site special events,  which may require designer or special wardrobe and multiple costume changes

Performs other job-related duties as requested
