It is the primary responsibility of the Assistant Cage Shift Supervisor to assist in leading the cage team toward a successful completion of shift operations including balancing of all banks, adherence to all company best practices and all Federal, State and local gaming regulations in addition to the delivery of SHOW standard guest service to all internal and external patrons.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Train Cage personnel on shift and assist in disciplinary counseling

Perform all functions in Chip Bank, Marker Bank and Main Bank

Maintain paperwork flows regarding credits and debits and verify various types of paid outs (drawing winners, tournament winners)

Generate end of shift reports

Process patron complaints, working toward resolution and guest recovery

Thorough understanding of fraud prevention and credit scams

Verify transactions as needed

Authorized to sign on the Cage Special Account checkbook

Ultimate authority on the shift in the absence of the Cage Shift Supervisor

General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and money handling

Familiarity with Title 31 and understanding of state, federal, gaming regulations

Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms

Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail

Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills

Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
