As a Specialty Sous Chef, you will be responsible for supervising food preparation. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Supervise food preparation of Line Cooks and Culinary Utility team members

Prepare food for service according to assignment by the Executive Chef or General Manager

Monitor customer flow and estimate daily food requirements and supplies and requisition items needed on a daily basis

Assist with training and development of all kitchen team members

Make recommendation for timely repair, maintenance, and upkeep of all kitchen equipment and/or mechanical systems

Lead the process of food preparation during meal periods

Supervise the Food and Beverage team to include efficient staffing, team member development and training, performance management and policy enforcement

Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority, refer the matter to management, and notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
