Job Profile Title: | Supv Race & Sports II-Hourly | Job Code: | 17134 | Profile Title: | 17134 Supv Race & Sports II-Hourly | Grade / Band: | 08 | FLSA Status: | Non-Exempt | It is the primary responsibility of the Race and Sports Shift Supervisor to oversee the daily operation of the Race and Sports book during their shift and/or in the absence of the Race and Sports Book Shift Manager. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Assist, train and lead Race and Sports Mutuel Clerks | Approve complimentary items for guests and over-the-limit wagers for the property | Close out writers at the end of the shift and ensure money has been transferred to the main cage | Move and monitor betting lines | Explain betting lines and odds to customers | Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department | Issue disciplinary action when requested by Sports Book Manager/Director |
