The Title 31 Compliance Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the consolidated compliance audit and departmental staff  while acting as a liaison between the auditors and the various property operational departments. This position will ensure strict  compliance with MGM Resorts, policies, best practices, anti-money laundering internal controls, and risk-based analysis. The ideal  candidate is solution driven with an ability to understand complex issues, operational challenges and embrace change. Must possess  excellent supervisory and leadership skills while functioning as a strong team player and possessing the ability to interact with  different personalities at all levels of management.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Expert in the subject matter of CFR 31 Chapter X, NV GCB Regulation 22 reporting requirements, and Related Bank Secrecy Act  Regulations.

Manage the identification and evaluation of the organization’s risk areas and provide major input to the development of the annual  risk assessment and audit plan.

Responsible for reviewing and maintaining written documentation (i.e., checklists, programs and/or guidelines), which reflect audit  objectives, audit scope, audit procedures, work performed, findings, conclusions reached, and resolution of all exceptions, inclusive of  determining compliance with internal controls through observations, through examination of documents and records, and/or through  inquiries with employees.

Ensure that management responses to instances of non-compliance or audit exceptions have corrective measures in place and verify  that corrective action is taken.

Identify and initiate special projects and audit activities to assist the company in managing strategic risk, improving business process  efficiency and effectiveness, identify and adopt best practices to improve business operations processes.

Establish and maintain working relationships with senior and operations management, Internal Audit staff and external service  providers to ensure adequate communication, cooperation, and understandings exist.

Create and maintain a work environment that promotes client service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition,  mutual respect, and employee satisfaction ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the  company’s diversity commitment.

Exceptional oral and written communication skills, as well as, interpersonal skills to confidently interact with business contacts and employees.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Casino Management Systems such as Tandem, CMS and Players Club.

Able to read, analyze and interpret data, understand technical procedures and government regulations.

Excellent organizational skills.
