Job Profile Title: | Dir Surveillance | Job Code: | 19189 | Profile Title: | 19189 Dir Surveillance | Grade / Band: | L3 | FLSA Status: | Exempt | It is the primary responsibility of the Director of Surveillance to oversee the daily Surveillance operations and perform duties independent from all other departments. The Director of Surveillance is responsible for the clandestine surveillance of, but not limited to, the operation and conduct of casino floor and property activity. Other responsibilities include the detection of advantage play, cheating, theft, embezzlement, and illegal activities in the casino, with a strong focus on game protection. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Oversee and direct daily operations related to the surveillance of gaming machines, video, lottery, cage booth cashiers, simulcast operations, including the audio/visual recording of count room operations | Oversee all gaming and internal audits of the Surveillance Room | Cooperate with the local Gaming Commission and various outside agencies on gaming regulations. | Direct leadership responsibilities including: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the Company’s diversity commitment. Manage the Surveillance team including new hire decisions, issuing commendations and discipline, coaching, training, delegating work assignments, and providing leadership | Develop, maintain, and submit departmental annual budgets and Capital Expenditure Requests | Appraise system and evaluates procedures in making recommendations and overseeing improvements; plan and implement systems to ensure compliance with federal, state and company rules and regulations. | Ensure that the department equipment is fully operational, up-to-date, and purchase/replace equipment, as needed | Review all daily activity reports and gives direction for the protection of assets; create reports and logs regarding Surveillance activity and information for the senior leadership | Conduct investigations by utilizing all systems | Maintain electronic files and surveillance documents. | Perform other job-related duties as requested |
