All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures, within the framework and intent of the company. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Oversee installation, programming, and maintenance, both ad-hoc and preventative, of the entirety of the CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) systems. Including but not limited to: Analog/Digital Video Matrix, Recording solutions NVRs, and Cameras. Including Installation of all CCTV systems. | Perform routine and systematic cleaning and preventative maintenance of NVR’s, Network equipment, video monitors, video cameras, pan/tilt motors and gears, system processor and controls, and system peripheral equipment. | Manage projects and make sure all systems are functioning, and all repairs are being made in a timely manner to meet regulations. | Lead the planning, placement and installation of cameras and support equipment into new or reconfigured casino and/or security areas. | Implement all necessary changes to the approved digital systems to meet regulators & MGM Resorts International requirements. | Provide and maintain property AutoCAD maps for gaming regulators as need. | Maintain all systems/modules interfacing with the surveillance core unit. | Work with the purchasing department for the procurement of technology and related equipment. Assists in the ordering and stocking of necessary cleaning supplies and spare parts. | Assume responsibility for all Category 5 cabling projects for property related installations. | Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management. | Notifies Dir Surveillance and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft. | Drive/Operate company vehicles to complete Surveillance work on and off property (Scissor lift, Boom lift, ladders etc.) |

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | KSAs | Working experience in managing CCTV, DVR (digital), access control, Cat 5 and fiber installation. | Experience in multi-tasking of projects and project management. | Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Office 365, Teams, Word, Power Point, and Excel. | Excellent guest service and hospitality skills. | Strong analytical and listening skills. | Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. | Ability to handle and maintain confidential information. | Ability to work in an environment where pipe, cigar, and cigarette smoking is permitted. | Ability to function and act independently. | Ability to work well with people, in a team environment, and to communicate effectively both written & oral. | Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under short time constraints, and within established deadlines. | Ability to work a flexible schedule including extended hours, weekends, and holidays. |
