Job Profile Title: | Entertainment Booking & Development Partner | Job Code: | 19253 | Profile Title: | 19253 Entertainment Booking & Development Partner | Grade / Band: | IC2 | FLSA Status: | Exempt | The Entertainment Booking & Development partner supports MGM Resorts International's Executive Director of Booking in developing a strategy and procuring content in the publicly ticketed entertainment venues at MGM Resorts International. This position has primary responsibility for creating event proformas, overseeing the accuracy of booking calendars at assigned venues, and actively participating in sourcing content to fill available performance dates by qualified entertainers at a variety of locations. In addition, the position supports the Artist Relations vertical for assigned venues with responsibilities including, but not limited to, artist/show room blocks, dining reservations, ground transportation, related amenities for artists and their entourages and being a primary contact for artist camps after hours and on weekends (including being on-site at these times as-needed). | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Manage the scheduling process for the Company's non-publicly ticketed entertainment venues and act as primary point of contact for those venues for external and internal clients, utilizing calendar management software such as EventBooking.com and/or other products. | Ensure timely, effective, efficient and accurate flow of communication between clients, property leadership and senior entertainment executives. Produce proformas, offer letters, and related documents for potential and confirmed shows. | Collaborate with Booking leadership to develop multi-property offers, maintain consistent pricing, procure new content, ensure deals are executed in accordance with contractual deal terms, and develop consistent processes and policies for all venues. | Manage relationships and communicate directly with agents, contractors, producers, promoters and artists in alignment with established protocols and venue availability, including communicating calendar date holds. Manage flow of information for incoming leads and confirmed shows between promoters, agents, property entertainment teams, ticketing, marketing/PR, and legal. | Make scheduling recommendations to senior management based on historical performance, current trends, surrounding events and calendar availability. | Interface with various event producers, agents, managers, contractors and artists to ensure proper execution of all event-related activities, while maintaining effective relationships with a wide variety of industry decision makers across all levels and types of entertainment. | Handle artist relations and show-coverage activities for assigned venues such as hosting business partners, coordinating air travel, room reservations, backstage amenities, and local ground transportation. |
