It is the primary responsibility of the Senior Manager Marketing to manage and execute on the brand portfolio strategy and marketing governance for MGM Resorts International. The Senior Marketing Manager is also responsible for planning and execution of advertising strategies and overseeing execution of marketing campaigns and creative requests through completion, while driving communication and timelines. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Drives social media strategy for the Property with a focus on increasing brand awareness and KPI performance across social and digital marketing campaigns.

Effectively collaborates and partners with department leadership to create, execute and communicate the Property's brand strategy, and leads marketing communications and marketing plans for various resort initiatives.

Actively collaborates with department leadership to serve as strategic lead on marketing projects and implementation, including on-property owned assets, traditional media, social and digital media, website assets, e-mail content priorities, entertainment needs, partnership communications, marketing sponsorships, and enterprise-wide initiatives.

Accountable for department P&L and ensuring projects are successfully executed, on time, and on budget.

Builds and manages relationships internally and externally to include internal teams, external key partnerships, as well as advertising agencies. Effectively collaborates with various stakeholders to understand business needs, timing, business impact and expectations to propose strategic action.

Sets goals and objectives and leads project management and brand oversight for various internal stakeholder projects (hospitality, casino ops, etc).

Leads development and execution of social media strategy, property marketing campaigns and advertising strategies for the Property.

Collaborate with creative team, social media and media Center of excellence to ensure brand consistency throughout all guest touch points and marketing executions.

Ensures the smooth workflow of projects from start to finish, to include identifying problems and recommending viable solutions that meet the needs of the business.

Provides direction and recommendations to internal stakeholders, agencies and departments that align to our brand strategy and brand promise.

Stays current on key marketing trends and best practices.
