Job Profile Title: | VP Strategy | Job Code: | 19495 | Profile Title: | 19495 VP Strategy | Grade / Band: | L5 | FLSA Status: | Exempt | The VP of Database Marketing – Strategy and Operations is responsible for defining and setting the marketing campaign strategy and operational campaign execution for known customer segments, MGM Rewards program, and MGMRI external partners, with input and direction from Revenue Managment, and Property Leadership teams. This role is responsible and accountable for optimizing campaigns to ensure customer engagement campaigns achieve the maximum return on investment for each campaign. This role will have direct P&L responsibility, and is responsible for maximize customer value, customer experience, marketing efficiency and overall property performance. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Drives campaign strategy and operational execution for all known customer segments, MGM Rewards program, and MGMRI external partners by leading teams that determine when, what and to whom to send campaigns based on qualitative and quantitative data | Collaborates with Corporate and/or Regional property senior leaders to determine cross-property tradeoffs and campaign prioritization to get the highest return on investment | Guides definition of holistic offer strategy and is accountable for leading and setting the spend within the P&L and not exceeding budgeted forecasts or annual spend for their assigned group of properties | Continuously improves customer engagement relative to internal benchmarks including revenue and income; recommends progressive and best practice customer engagement campaigns; achieves key performance metrics | Delineates overall contact strategy and lifecycle communications for each customer segment across all assigned properties / market(s) | Collaborates with Commercial and/or Regional properties leadership to define and roadmap holistic reinvestment strategy (e.g., slot strategy, etc.) and integrates into customer-focused campaigns while maintaining optimized financial returns | Collaborates with, sets strategy for, and receives input on campaign strategy from Commercial Analytics and Data Science, and customer strategy teams | Works collaboratively with Commercial Data Science, Technology and/or Regional Leadership to enhance customer segmentation practices, and expand to digital channels/omni-channel orchestration while incorporating improvements based on personalization pilots | Works closely to influence and is responsible for the long-term Marketing systems roadmap and systems integrations, working closely with partners in MGM Technology | Owns marketing campaign outcomes, and has affiliated ownership of property led marketing campaigns | Coaches each employee to identify personal goals and developmental needs, identifying training needs as required; ensure each employee completes all required departmental and company training and conduct periodic performance evaluations | Provides leadership for all reporting departments' HR responsibilities, to include creating a work environment that promotes teamwork and mutual respect, providing performance feedback and recognition as well as ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that support the company’s diversity commitment |
