All duties are performed in accordance with department and property policies, practices, and procedures. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Operate a smooth, efficient, and cost effective operation; including labor management, supervision of all aspects of services, and inventory control. Manage Spa/Salon/Fitness Centers/Retail Sales staff to ensure they adhere to and enforce company policies, while being alert to their duties and responsibilities. Ensure phones are monitored and appointments are booked appropriately, including explanation of treatments. Manage the ordering of products for back bar and amenities. | Ensure all established standards of professionalism, guest service, and protocols are being practiced by all staff within established departmental policies and procedures. Respond to guest service interactions in a professional and timely manner. | Responsible for maintaining accuracy in system scheduling and timing of services. Create and adjust staff schedules and floor operation, in conjunction with Workforce Management and Collective Bargaining Agreements (where applicable). | Ensure all accounting, payroll and employee relations matters are handled in compliance with Company policy. | Proactively greet, interact, and assist team in a professional manner to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious work environment. Responsible for department staffing to include interviewing and selecting internal and external candidates, training, coaching/counseling and termination decisions, and/or making changes to an employee’s schedule or status. Instruct new hires and employees on expectations and responsibilities for each role. | Keep the Director informed on all pertinent information related to the department and report irregularities and problems, as they occur, along with recommendations for solutions. Notify Director/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged thefts. Respond to emergency situations, as necessary, by following departmental procedures, staying calm, and assisting Security, as needed. |

Knowledge of general health and sanitation codes. | Strong strategic planning, project management skills and superior decision-making while managing multiple priorities | Professional appearance and demeanor. | Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment, maintaining a proper mental attitude to deal effectively with guests, management and employees.
