The Vice President National Marketing is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Casino Marketing Executives, driving high-end gaming business in support of property revenue targets and increasing profitability. The Vice President National Marketing is responsible for implementation of strategic tactical marketing programs for competitive positioning in the marketplace. This position provides oversight to ensure all marketing efforts are in accordance with overall business objectives, ensure campaigns and programs are competitive with the market and ensure programs are designed within budget guidelines and the strategic plan.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Develops marketing strategies with the EVP Casino Marketing, President Customer Development and VP of National Marketing at our sister properties. Implements relationship management and customer development strategy that compliments the property through the utilization of software and marketing tools and in partnership with Corporate Casino Marketing.

Establishes casino campaigns for special events/promotions that support all Properties and/or each individual brand. Directs and provides oversight of cross marketing initiatives for MGM Resorts properties to ensure company assets are optimally utilized and maximized to enhance the customer experience. Analyzes effectiveness of casino marketing programs and identifies areas of opportunity based on known industry trends that focus on casino revenue and profitability for the property.

Ensures the integrity and effective measurement of all casino marketing programs. Executes processes that ensure quality control, cost measures, and other techniques for maximizing the effective delivery of customer service and profitability. Applies economic and accounting principles in the analysis and reporting financial data as it relates to Marketing programs.

Executes marketing strategies that ensure the targeted return on sales and maximum revenue for gaming operations. Coordinates all plans with Casino Marketing and the property operational units.

Oversees and monitors appropriate issuance of casino credit to gaming customers in accordance with Company policies and procedures and minimizes credit risk.
