It is the responsibility of the Slot Tech Manager to oversee the overall operation of Slot Technical Department in accordance to the departmental and property practices, policies, and procedures.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee the day to day operation of the Slot Technical Department.
Continuously evaluate staffing levels in accordance with business demand, forecasts, and budgetary guidelines; ensuring necessary adjustments are made as needed.
Manage Human Resources responsibilities for assigned department(s) to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment; adherence to the company’s status quo third party representation philosophy; compliance with company policies, legal requirements and collective bargaining agreements.
Responsible for the overall maintenance and performance of slot equipment.
Interview, screen, and hire slot tech staff.
Remain up to date on all advances in technology, associates with vendors, servicemen, etc.
Maintain records of all machines on the casino floor, including par sheets, excess fills, machine moves etc.
Oversee staff training for new machine types.
Generate all documentation for machine movement, conversions and machine repairs pursuant to Maryland Gaming Regulations.
Schedule all aspects of machine moves and/or conversions.
Participate in all equipment moves.
Respond to special requests, by the VP Slot Operations.
Orders and maintains inventory parts.
Acts as liaison between vendors and MGM National Harbor.
Generates paperwork and oversees invoice payments for leased machines, parts, etc.

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years of prior relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
KSAs
Extensive Knowledge in all aspects of gaming device technology
Proficient in using a computer, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent customer service skills.
Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms.
