Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Oversee the day to day operation of the Slot Technical Department. | Continuously evaluate staffing levels in accordance with business demand, forecasts, and budgetary guidelines; ensuring necessary adjustments are made as needed. | Manage Human Resources responsibilities for assigned department(s) to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment; adherence to the company’s status quo third party representation philosophy; compliance with company policies, legal requirements and collective bargaining agreements. | Responsible for the overall maintenance and performance of slot equipment. | Interview, screen, and hire slot tech staff. | Remain up to date on all advances in technology, associates with vendors, servicemen, etc. | Maintain records of all machines on the casino floor, including par sheets, excess fills, machine moves etc. | Oversee staff training for new machine types. | Generate all documentation for machine movement, conversions and machine repairs pursuant to Maryland Gaming Regulations. | Schedule all aspects of machine moves and/or conversions. | Participate in all equipment moves. | Respond to special requests, by the VP Slot Operations. | Orders and maintains inventory parts. | Acts as liaison between vendors and MGM National Harbor. | Generates paperwork and oversees invoice payments for leased machines, parts, etc. |
