Accountable for oversight and leadership of all staffing, guest service initiatives and employee engagement, and ownership of all profitability of the property's Table Game department. Ensures that all activities and practices adhere to the policies, philosophies and regulations of the state's Gaming Control Board and in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Drives high levels of employee engagement and guest service throughout the Table Games department | Drives financial and operating results for Table Games Operations and makes casino credit decisions on behalf of the property | Collaborates with the business with the annual business plan and tactics for the Table Games Operations division that drives the Property’s overall Strategic Plan | Collaborates with Gaming Center of Excellence for proposed improvements to floor layout, equipment or procedures based upon observations and documented facts and reports and ensures the moving of gaming equipment is in accordance with gaming board regulations | Partners with Gaming Center of Excellence for the acquisition of all stock, supplies, materials, components, and gaming equipment | Partners with Corporate Gaming Center of Excellence to review, approve or deny recommendations for changes to the Table Games Department technical and operational policies and procedures | Oversees Table Games to include efficient staffing, team member development and training, performance management and policy enforcement | Creates a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompasses the company’s diversity commitment; adherence to the company’s status quo third party representation philosophy; compliance with the company’s policies, legal requirements and collective bargaining agreements | Manages table games operations to ensure performance, appropriate table mix, game configuration, and suitable game placement and layout. Ensures the timely and accurate repair of all tables on the casino floor | Maintains effective communications with Table Games, Slots, Player Development and Special Events to maximize effectiveness and enhance guest service | Ensures optimum performance of the department by recommending continuous improvement recommendations and implementing techniques to improve productivity, increase effectiveness and decrease costs | Ensures delivery of SHOW and all Guest Experience initiatives, aligning with the property’s individual brand and Culture of MGM Resorts International by creating relationships with customers to promote loyalty to the company |
