This role operates at the intersection of event logistics, VIP hospitality, and brand marketing. The candidate will have strong sports and/or entertainment industry knowledge, established industry relationships, and an understanding of hospitality logistics and proven successes driving multi‐stakeholder programs using marketing and operational solutions to meet business objectives. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Collaborates regularly with leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on hospitality; MRGMRI event partners to ensure alignment over hospitality objectives and budgets; Marketing divisions to ensure event assets are within MGM and Event guidelines. | Serve as the primary point of contact for athletes, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service throughout the event lifecycle. | Liaise with corporate partners, sports agencies, and talent to fulfill contractual obligations and elevate the hospitality experience. | Oversee hotel inventory, managing room blocks and coordinating directly with property partners to secure seamless accommodations for players, VIPs, and staff. Manage comprehensive ticket block distribution, inventory tracking, and allocations prior to the event. | Plan and execute secondary event programming within the larger tournament footprint (e.g., welcome receptions, VIP dinners, after-parties). | Direct onsite photography and videography teams to capture high-quality assets for marketing, press, and post-event recaps. | Manage the procurement, inventory, and distribution of VIP gifting and onsite retail operations. | Provide high-level administrative and operational support; assisting in budget tracking, scheduling, and overarching project management to move the needle on department goals. | Ensures all project elements are communicated in a timely and comprehensive manner across all MGMRI Center of Excellence (COE) groups (property leadership, executive teams, finance, marketing, risk, casino marketing, revenue management, etc.). Conceptualize and build comprehensive event presentation decks for internal stakeholders, partners, and post-event reporting. |
